Let’s make a scene! Personalized scenes constructed using audio, 3D video and photos of your favorite physical spaces. This may include a home, vacation spot or any location with special meaning. If it can be photographed it can be included in a digital scene for friends and loved ones to enjoy as often as they’d like.
Scenes can also contain “hotspots” or elements that have added media attached. For example a user may look at a favorite book or belonging from within the scene and that action can result in the playing of a favorite piece of music or sound file. The sound can be a pre-recorded message from family or include sound effects that increase the ambience of the virtual space.
Sound effects can include almost anything from the sound of the family dog to rain or the sound of a streetcar passing by. It is interesting to note the sounds that connect us to our environments and which ones we miss when we no longer hear them.
